Uninsured services

Many services and forms are not covered by a provincial healthcare plan like OHIP. Patients are responsible for paying for these services, just as you would pay an accountant or a lawyer.

Creditview Medical uses the Ontario Medical Association’s Guide to Uninsured Services to set these prices. Prices are subject to change as new iterations of the guide are released

If you are a patient of Dr. Nguyen’s, please note that as of September 12, 2024, he has partnered with PatientSERV to manage uninsured service requests and payments. PatientSERV is the official partner of the Ontario Medical Association. Patients should have received a letter in the mail with instructions on how to create an account. Prescription Renewals

In many cases, prescriptions can be renewed via e-fax request from your pharmacy. Our physicians complete hours of administrative work daily, in addition to seeing patients. Our goal is to renew prescriptions within two business days.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you do not run out of medications; urgent/same-day renewal requests will incur a $20 charge

While physicians aim to provide patients with a sufficient quantity of medications, not all medications can be renewed without an appointment. Some common examples include blood pressure medications without recent check up, or controlled substances such as narcotics
